Summer joined Communtiy-Engaged Leadership in 2018, after previously serving as a Learning Partner on three programs and falling for #ASEmagic. Summer previously served as the Assistant Director of Alumni Affairs at Appalachian State, and was the ofunding director of the LGBT Resource Office at East Carolina University. Summer met her husband Hunter Boone as Mountianeer undergrads, and they welcomed their daughter Decker Jean Boone in 2020 and are currently expecting their second daughter. They have two dogs - Charlie and Sophie.

Ashley loves creating connections with students while helping them discover their leadership potential and apply their skills to their own experiences. Ashley previously served at the graduate assistant for Leadership Development at Appalachian State, when she was in graduate school. In her free time, she loves reading and taking her two pups, Dude & Willow, on adventures.
